How to fill out Nevada VP 104, the Bill of Sale

Releases your interest in the vehicle and is the record of the sale you keep. It does not replace the title - a certificate of title or other ownership document has to go with it.

Written against VP 104 (Rev 01/2024), issued under NRS 482.426 and NRS 490.082. Nevada last touched this one in January 2024. Check the code in the footer of the PDF you print matches, because a superseded bill of sale is a wasted trip.

RebuiltTick only if the vehicle has been rebuilt as NRS 482.098 defines it. Does not apply to off-highway vehicles.

SellerFull legal name, license or ID number or date of birth or FEIN, mailing address, signature and date.

What gets this one rejected

Every line here was read off VP 104 (Rev 01/2024) itself — the PDF is here — and off the Nevada Department of Motor Vehicles pages. This is plain-language help with a form, not legal advice, and where our wording and the agency's differ, theirs governs.
